Radical Jewellery Makeover on 612ABC Brisbane

Luise Straker from 612ABC Brisbane visited the jewellery studios over at the Qld College of Art to see the jewellers in action, transforming the jewellery donations into exciting new pieces.

Come and see the finished pieces for yourself at the Radical Jewellery Makeover opening tonight in the UAP sponsored Crucible gallery space here at artisan from 6:00pm.

The exhibition continues until the 28th of August.

Thank you to the lovely people at the Design Files for the little feature in the Need/Want section of their site of Kathy McLay's beautiful twig ring from our online (m)art design store. We were very excited to see it there :)

Every year artisan curates an Unleashed exhibition featuring some of the best graduate art, craft and design from across Queensland's leading tertiary institutions. This year artisan is seeking expressions of interest from a Queensland based curator to develop the 2011 Unleashed exhibition from graduating students within the previous five years. We are looking for fresh ideas and an innovative approach to this high profile and time-honoured exhibition series at artisan.
