Are you an established or emerging artist in Brisbane?

This is your chance to get out of the studio, connect with a live audience of over 5,000 members of the architecture and design industry and auction your work!
Chairbiz are giving Brisbane artists the opportunity to participate in their 'Artists at Work' live painting session at
Brisbane Indesign 2012. Ten artists will be selected to creatively interpret the theme COMMON THREAD in an artwork. One of Australia's most exciting young artists, Nic Plowman, will be judging the artworks on the day and the winner will be awarded $1,500 prize money. The People's Choice winner will receive $500 prize money. A live auction will be held at the end of the day, giving the design community a chance to own a piece of art by an emerging artist. Artisan designer Scott St apartment

Artisan staff have busy organising the interior decoration of a multi-million dollar Scott St apartment with work from Queensland designers. The apartment will launch in early April with an exclusive cocktail party by Lindsay Bennett Marketing and will available for private viewing.

Australian International Design Awards Closing Soon

Good Design Australia have given you six reasons to enter the 2012 Design Awards


1. WESTFIELD

Tinker Tailor Soldier Sailor shortlisted for Adelaide Fringe Award!

Artisan's touring exhibition Tinker Tailor Soldier Sailor has been shortlisted for the Adelaide Fringe Award in the catagorey of BankSA Best Visual Art and Design.

The exhibition is currently on display at JamFactory in Adelaide until the 5th of April 2012.

Winners will be announced this Sunday the 18th of March. You can follow the Adelaide Fringe twitter feed for live announcements of winners here. Alternatively the full list of winners will be available on the Adelaide Fringe website on Monday the 19th of March.
