Animated Steel: Heavier Metal features the work of Queensland artist Christopher Trotter. Inspired by nature, and fast cars and machinery, Trotter, recycles industrial scrap metal into animals, fossils, zany vehicles or alien creatures. He carefully selects components, and his intimate understanding of structure and movement, both natural and mechanical, imbues his works with life and vigour. This selection of sculptures are from the artists collection. The exhibition is on display at Gallery artisan until the 31st of March 2012.
